Columbia Hills, Washington, USA
I woke up early and drove to the Columbia Hills as the weather pattern looked promising for an inversion layer to develop east of the the Cascades. The conditions cooperated and I was fortunate get this image as the sun broke through clouds. I love the way the fog caresses the grassy slopes and the lone tree standing above the fog layer.
